Proposal received to open campus of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Educity Naya Raipur

The efforts of the state government to provide quality higher education to the youth of the state are getting continuous success.

Raipur News: Jagdish V Parikh, representative of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan today. During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the special efforts and new possibilities being made in the field of higher education in the state. Parikh informed the Chief Minister about the institute’s proposal to set up its campus at Educity, Naya Raipur. He also shared information about courses, educational activities conducted by NMIMS. Parikh also told him about the meeting held today with Housing and Environment Minister Shri OP Choudhary and said that he will get all possible departmental support through him.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is developing Educity in Naya Raipur with the resolve to provide quality higher education. He said that through Educity, the youth of the state will get the opportunity to study in national level institutions of excellence and they will not need to go to big cities. He said that with the coming of a prestigious institute like Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, the youth of the state will get quality high level education in the field of management and engineering. The operation of national and international institutes in Educity will give a new direction to the skill development of the youth and create better employment opportunities.

It is noteworthy that the state government is constructing Educity to develop Naya Raipur as an educational hub. It is proposed to establish a multi-disciplinary university, research centre, incubation hub, digital library, science and innovation center and state-of-the-art laboratories. With this, the youth of the state will get national and international level education, research and startup opportunities. Prestigious institutions like IIIT, IIM, National Law University are already operating in Naya Raipur. With the development of Educity, a strong and modern ecosystem of education will be created here. During this, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Chief Executive Officer of Naya Raipur Development Authority Chandan Kumar and senior officials were present.
