Actress and TV host Javeria Saud has responded to recent comments made by Sangeeta regarding her past friendship with actor Meera and her husband Saud.

Earlier this week, Sangeeta participated in a television program where she discussed a past incident involving Saud and Meera. According to Sangeeta, she was directing a film in which she had cast Resham opposite Saud. Meera, who had hoped to be Saud’s leading lady, reportedly disapproved of this casting decision.

Sangeeta claimed that at one point, Meera even tried to prevent Saud from coming to the film set. However, Sangeeta said she personally went to Saud’s residence, brought him to the set, and reprimanded Meera for her behavior.

Following these remarks, Javeria Saud, who is both Saud’s wife and a well-known actress, issued a statement addressing Sangeeta’s comments. She said that sharing forgotten stories under the guise of innocence, while tarnishing the reputation of a family man, is an art in itself  and sarcastically congratulated Sangeeta for it.

Javeria clarified that the incident does not affect the strong, loving, and trust-based relationship she shares with Saud. She emphasized that Saud’s character and reputation remain intact, despite the public revelation. According to her, such narratives should not be used as a shortcut to fame, and media personalities should consider other ways to gain attention rather than involving private family matters.

She further stressed that their relationship has been built on mutual respect and trust, which cannot be undermined by stories from the past, no matter how sensationalized. Javeria’s statement reflects the couple’s desire to maintain privacy and dignity amid media scrutiny.

This public exchange highlights ongoing tensions in the Pakistani entertainment industry, where personal relationships of celebrities often become topics of discussion. Despite the controversy, Javeria Saud appears determined to protect both her family’s honor and the integrity of her marriage, sending a clear message against sensationalized storytelling in the media.
