Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1 in Coimbatore in a simple yet spiritually rich ceremony attended only by close family and friends.
Only hours after the wedding, Samantha and Raj were spotted at the airport flying to Goa for a short honeymoon before they dive back into work commitments.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, speaking from the airport, Samantha sounded radiant and overflowing with joy, saying, “I’ve never felt happier in life. Raj completes me in ways I can’t describe. We are off to a day’s honeymoon.”
Samantha opens up on resuming work When reporters asked why just one day, she laughed and responded, “That’s all I can afford right now. I start shooting from the 4th. We will go for a proper honeymoon later.”
For the unversed, the couple exchanged vows in front of the Linga Bhairavi abode, performing the Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha , consecrated by Sadhguru through the prana pratishtha ceremony.
Soon after the ceremony, the newlyweds were welcomed with immense warmth by Raj’s family. Raj’s sister, Sheetal Nidimoru, shared a heartfelt message along with the first family portrait that left social media emotional. Recalling the moments from the wedding day, she wrote, “While praying to Shiva in the Chandrakund today — soaked, shivering, during the pradoha time — I found myself embracing the Shivalingam with a heart full of tears. Not tears of pain but tears of gratitude.”
Sheetal’s emotional message melts hearts In her post, Sheetal expressed that the rituals they performed together held deep meaning, adding, “Doing these Isha rituals together as a family on such a sacred day felt like life aligning itself in the most beautiful way. It reminded me that some relationships don’t just happen, they arrive with peace.” She continued, “As I light the sesame oil lamps, my heart prayed for only one thing: May everyone find a love that feels this peaceful, this steady, and this right.”
Samantha acknowledged the loving welcome with a warm and simple response in the comments: “Love you.”
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the horror comedy 'Subham'.
