In the interview, Saboor mentioned that because she was very close friends with Maryam Ansari, Ali’s sister, she considered Ali as a brother. According to Saboor, in their culture, friend’s brothers are often treated like brothers as well.

Saboor also shared that before her marriage, she had suggested a few girls as potential matches for Ali to her friend Maryam and even recommended some names to Ali himself. However, Maryam playfully suggested that Saboor should consider marrying Ali herself.
