Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a record-breaking inning of 70 runs in the second Youth ODI against Australia Under-19 team. The 14-year-old batsman, who has previously made waves in England, is now thrashing the Australian bowlers. Vaibhav made a new record in his innings of 70 runs in 68 balls, in this inning he hit 6 sixes and 5 fours.

Australia Under-19 vs India Under-19 in Brisbane, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. India suffered a big blow on the second ball of the first over when captain Ayush Mhatre was out for zero. Then opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi along with Vihaan Malhotra added 117 runs for the second wicket. Vaibhav was caught out on the third ball of the 19th over, and failed to convert his impressive innings into a century. Batting first, India scored 300 runs.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has so far hit a total of 41 sixes in Youth ODI, which has broken the record of former India Under-19 World Cup captain Unmukt Chand. Now he holds the record of hitting most number of sixes in Youth ODI. He scored his first half-century in Australia, scoring 38 runs in 22 balls in the first Youth ODI.

Unmukt Chande had hit 38 sixes, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi had achieved this feat in just 10 innings. Suryavanshi has scored 540 runs in Youth ODI, out of which 26 percent runs have been scored only from boundaries. Which includes 41 Chaggas.

Vaibhav has already broken and created many records. He made his Ranji Trophy debut at the age of 12 years and 284 days, becoming the youngest cricketer in the tournament. He holds the record for the fastest century in Youth ODI, he achieved this feat in 52 balls.

At the age of 14, Vaibhav has already achieved a lot. He scored 355 runs in five youth ODIs in England. He also created history in the IPL, becoming the second fastest player and the first Indian to score a century in the tournament.
