Chief Minister attended the annual conference of Kanwar Samaj


Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai participated as the chief guest in the annual conference of All India Kanwar Samaj held at Boirdadar, Raigarh today. Chief Minister Sai inaugurated the first floor of the community hall constructed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh on the demand of the society. The senior members of the society gave a grand welcome and felicitation to the Chief Minister with traditional customs. Chief Minister Sai, while paying tribute to the leaders of Kanwar community, said that development of the society is possible only through education. He said that education is not only a job but also a medium to become successful in various fields. Educating every son and daughter will strengthen the society. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to the upliftment and welfare of the tribal society. Various schemes are being run by the government for the development of tribals and areas, the benefits of which are being availed by the people. He also called for taking maximum benefit of the public welfare schemes of the government.




Recalling the contribution of the tribal community in the freedom struggle, Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new height to the respect of the tribal community by declaring November 15, the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, as Tribal Pride Day. He said that to include the tribal society in the mainstream, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh and PM Janman programs. This is the biggest campaign after independence in the field of tribal welfare. He said that through these schemes all types of basic facilities are being provided to the tribal families. Due to these schemes, development is taking place at a fast pace in the tribal areas.


Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighter Memorial cum Museum in Raipur on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh. The contribution of the brave fighters of Chhattisgarh to the country is being displayed alive in the museum. It will continue to educate the coming generations about the bravery and sacrifice of our brave heroes. This is also a matter of pride for our tribal society. On completion of 25 years of creation of Chhattisgarh state, Chief Minister Sai paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, mentioning the extensive expansion of the state’s development – PDS system, roads, electricity, water, education and health. The Chief Minister said that after the formation of the state, the light of access roads and development has reached every village. Naxalism has been the biggest obstacle to development in the state, but with the efforts of the government, it is breathing its last breath. He said that the Central Government has set a target to end Naxalism by March 31, 2026.




Referring to the new industrial policy of the state, the Chief Minister said that under it, investment proposals worth more than Rs 8 lakh crore have been received. We are trying to connect the youth with employment and self-employment through industries. Along with this, our government is running various schemes to move forward the entire society of the state with strength, we must take advantage of it. The Chief Minister made several important announcements on the occasion, including construction of CC road up to the main road along with another cultural building at Boirdadar Raigarh for the Kanwar community, new social building at Turtura in Lailunga, expansion of social buildings constructed at Lailunga and Gharghoda. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s wife Kaushalya Sai, Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathiya, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Mayor Jeevardhan Chauhan, District Panchayat Vice President Deepak Sidar, Bharat Sai, Satyanand Rathiya, Anantram Pankra and other dignitaries were present in the program.
