Haryana Weather: With the beginning of December, cold has gained momentum in Haryana. On the morning of the first, the temperature was recorded at 1–2 degrees Celsius in many districts, while in Hisar the temperature dropped to 3.5 degrees Celsius last night. This sudden cold has made people feel like January in the early days of December.

According to the Meteorological Department, the average minimum temperature in the state has dropped by 2.1 degrees in the last 24 hours, which is 3.4 degrees below normal. There has also been a rapid decline in the maximum temperature, due to which now the effect of cold winds is being felt even during the day.

Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of Agricultural Meteorology Department of HAU Hisar, said that the night temperature will continue to fall between 1st and 3rd December. The cold of the morning and evening will increase due to north-westerly winds. There will be fog in the morning on 2nd December and the weather will remain cold.

The maximum temperature on this day is likely to be around 25 degrees and the minimum will be 5 degrees Celsius. Fog and smog conditions will persist on December 3 and the day temperature may drop to 20 degrees and the night temperature may drop to 4–5 degrees.

Even on 4th December the weather will remain hazy the whole day. With cold winds blowing, the day temperature will be around 22 degrees and the night temperature will be around 5 degrees. The effect of both smog and pollution will continue on December 5, during which the day temperature can reach around 24 degrees and the night temperature can reach 10 degrees. On December 6, cold winds will show effect in the morning and evening and on this day the mercury can remain between 20 degrees during the day and 5–8 degrees at night.

A slight improvement in the weather is expected on December 7, although fog may persist. On this day, the day temperature is likely to be around 22 degrees and the night temperature is likely to be between 7–10 degrees. Light sunshine or partly cloudy weather may be seen on December 8. There will be strong winds and the maximum temperature may rise to 25 degrees, while the night temperature is expected to be around 10 degrees.
