During this praise, Ranveer Singh called Goddess Chamunda of Tulu community of Karnataka a ghost. Now because of his controversial statement, social media users are angry at him.

Ranveer says in the video, “I saw your film in the theater and honestly, your performance was amazing. Especially when the female ghost comes inside your body.” Ranveer further shows the scene by recreating the scene in which Chamunda Mata comes inside Rishabh Shetty.
