Mumbai: The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty hit fresh lifetime highs in early trade on December 1, 2025, Monday. The BSE barometer jumped 290.91 points to 85,997.58, while the broader Nifty gained 88.10 points to 26,291.05.

The indices surged after the GDP growth rate increased by 8.2 percent in the second quarter. 1682 shares jumped, 849 declined and 257 remained unchanged in the market. SBI, Trent, Shriram Finance, Tata Steel and Reliance Industries were the strong gainers on Nifty, while Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer, Titan Company and Bajaj Finance quoted lower.
