Bollywood superstar Salman Khan paid an emotional tribute to the late actor Dharmendra (89) on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19.

The usually entertaining and lively episode took a somber turn as Khan mourned the veteran actor's death, which he described as a "big shock" for the country, fans, and industry alike.

He said, "Desh ko ek bohot hi bada jhatka laga hai (The nation has suffered a huge shock)."

Khan added, "Fans ko bohot hi bada jhatka laga hai (Fans have also suffered a huge shock). Industry ko bada loss aur sadma pohocha hai (The industry has suffered a great loss and shock)."

He continued, "I guess aap samajh rahe hai main kinki baat kar raha hu (I guess you know who I'm talking about). God bless his soul...I wish ye Weekend Ka Vaar main nahi kar raha hota (I wish I wasn't doing this week's Weekend Ka Vaar)."

A clip from Bigg Boss 14, featuring Dharmendra's guest appearance on the show's finale, has resurfaced online.

The video shows Khan's deep respect for the legendary actor as he asks contestants to stand up for him.

"Koi baithega nahi jab tak Dharam ji yaha par hai (No one will sit down until Dharam ji is here)," Khan had said, revealing how much he loved Dharmendra.

Bigg Boss 19 is nearing its conclusion, and the grand finale is scheduled for December 7.

Meanwhile, Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan. The movie will reportedly release in June 2026.

A source told Bollywood Hungama that the shooting began in September, and a major chunk has already been shot.

The team has filmed key challenging and action sequences and will wrap up shooting by December.
