On November 24 2025 veteran actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89. His demise left the entire nation mourning for days. From common people to big celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan everyone mourned the death of the actor. Recently Salman Khan who is hosting the reality show Bigg Boss remembered Dharmendra with teary eyes. Everyone inside and outside the industry knew about the beautiful bond Salman and Dharmendra shared. The Sholay actor often referred to Khan as his son. Now on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode Salman choked up while paying tribute to Dharmendra.
Salman Khan Gets Emotional While Remembering Dharmendra
In the episode Salman Khan paid an emotional tribute to the late actor becoming visibly moved as he spoke about his passing and said “Yeh hafta waise hi jo guzra hai manatein maang kar prarthnayein karke aansuon ke saath guzra hai. Desh ko ek bahut hi bada jhatka laga hai fans ko ek bahut hi bada jhatka laga hai. Industry ko ek bahut hi bada sadma pahuncha hai (This past week has passed with prayers supplications and tears. The entire nation has suffered a massive shock the fans have been deeply shaken and the industry has received a huge blow).”

About Dharmendras Death
Dharmendras first hospitalization in November 2025 was on October 31 2025 when he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for a routine check-up after complaining of breathlessness.

Later on November 12 the actor was brought back home where he was kept under observation. However on November 24 amid tight security an ambulance rushed inside Dharmendras house and it was later revealed that the actor had passed away.

His last rites were performed at 1:30 PM in Pawan Hans Crematorium.
