Onion Rate: An important update is coming for onion farmers in the state. Onion is an important cash crop produced in Maharashtra. Onion is cultivated on a large scale in Nashik, Ahilyanagar, Pune, Solapur, Sambhajinagar, Jalgaon, Dhule districts of the state.

But the onion crop sometimes turns out to be a disaster for the farmers and the farmers have to bear huge losses. Only when the farmers get a good yield of onion, onion does not fetch a good price in the market.

So farmers are always worried. Onion growers are not getting expected income from onion crop. Meanwhile, the market price of onion was constantly fluctuating for the past few days, but today onion has got a good satisfactory price in some markets.

At present, red onion is being received in various market committees of the state and today Pol onion has fetched the highest price in Nashik district. In Nashik’s APMC today, onion has fetched a maximum price of Rs 4 thousand 200 per quintal.

Nashik Agricultural Produce Market Committee: 900 quintals of Pol onion arrived in this market today on 29 November 2025. Pol onion fetched a minimum price of Rs 750, a maximum of Rs 4200 and an average of Rs 2450 per quintal in Nashik market today.

Chandrapur Agricultural Produce Market Committee: Onion has fetched a good price today in this market in Vidarbha too. In this market, today on November 29, 2025, onion got a price of minimum 1300, maximum 2500 and average two thousand rupees per quintal.

Solapur Agricultural Produce Market Committee: At the Solapur Agricultural Produce Market Committee in western Maharashtra, red onion fetched a minimum price of Rs 100 per quintal today. Also here red onion fetched a maximum price of Rs. twenty five hundred and an average of Rs. 900 per quintal.

Satara Agricultural Produce Market Committee: It has been reported on the official website of the State Marketing Corporation that the minimum price of red onion in this market is Rs.1 thousand, the maximum is Rs.2 thousand and the average price is Rs.1500 per quintal.
