An atmosphere of trust, security and permanent peace is being established in Bastar – Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai
Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that humanitarian, sensitive and visionary initiatives like “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025” and “Poona Margame: Rehabilitation to Rejuvenation” have established an environment of trust, security and permanent peace in Bastar. The Chief Minister said that many people trapped in the Maoist trap are now leaving the path of violence and returning towards development and mainstream. In this sequence, today 10 Maoists carrying a total reward of Rs 65 lakh, including senior member of Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee and Chaitu alias Shyam Dada, who had a reward of Rs 25 lakh, have surrendered. The Chief Minister described this as a clear proof of the changing Bastar and the success of the government’s policies.
Chief Minister Sai also said that as per the commitment of the government, necessary rehabilitation facilities will be provided to all the surrendered comrades for a safe, dignified and self-reliant life. He mentioned that the increasing number of surrenders shows that the public is trusting the policies of the government and Bastar is rapidly moving towards peace, trust and development. Calling it the collective result of the state’s effective strategy, continuous hard work of the police administration and public trust, the Chief Minister called it an important achievement towards establishing permanent peace in Bastar.
