Rodri to miss Leeds United clash, confirms Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that midfielder Rodri will not be available for the Premier League match against Leeds United on Saturday.

The Spanish international is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

Rodri last played as a late substitute in City's victory over Bournemouth at the start of November but hasn't started a game since October 1's draw with AS Monaco.

When asked about Rodri's potential return for the match, Guardiola was clear in his response.

"Not yet. Not much further," he said in Friday's press conference.

This indicates that the midfielder is still some way off from making a full recovery and returning to first-team action for Manchester City.

Despite Rodri's absence, Manchester City will be looking to continue their good run against Leeds United.
