The‍‍‍‍‍‍ internet is buzzing with rumours about the cancelled wedding of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal. The wedding was supposed to be held in Sangli, Maharashtra, on November 23. The wedding had to be postponed due to early reports suggesting that Smriti’s father suffered from chest pains on the day of the wedding and since the cricketer is very close to her father, she decided to postpone the wedding till he got better. But numerous rumours on the internet say otherwise.

What Happened To Smriti Mandhana, Palash Muchhal Wedding

Fans were quick to note that Mandhana had deleted several pictures from her Instagram account following the cancellation of the event, including the ones related to the engagement and proposal. Without a word from the couple and changes visible on social media, online theories have been soaring like rockets on Reddit, X, and Instagram, speculating reasons behind disagreements and the involvement of a third party. The rumours suggested that Palash Muchhal cheated on Smriti Mandhana with the wedding choreographer.

The two choreographers working on the wedding, Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz, reportedly the ones creating the sangeet dance routines, got involved in the story. A Reddit anonymous thread insinuated that the duo might be involved. There was no evidence for the claims, yet they went viral fast enough to link both the names to the centre of the heated discussion.

After listening to the rumours online, choreographer Gulnaaz sent a public message via her Instagram stories, indicating that neither she nor Nandika were involved in the scene. She emphasized if someone is a friend socially or happens to be photographed with a person then that should not be taken as a linkage to their personal affairs. She also urged social media users not to reach conclusions without having the facts beforehand.

In the meantime, Nandika Dwivedi has not spoken out and she has limited the access to her social media account. Neither Smriti Mandhana nor Palash Muchhal has responded to the rumours or given an explanation for the deletion of the posts. Close friends of the families are saying that the reason for the postponement is still a health issue, but other than that, everyone is staying quiet.
