Prime Minister Narendra Modi grandly unveiled the world's tallest 77 feet bronze statue of Shri Ram at Sri Sansthan Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Math in Cancone, Goa. The statue has been created by renowned sculptor Ram Sutar—who is also the architect of the Statue of Unity. This statue is said to be the world's tallest installed statue of Lord Ram. At the ceremony, PM Modi said: "The Math has seen changing eras in 550 years, but has not lost its direction. It has been the center that gives direction to the society."
