New Delhi: A delegation of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), led by Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami today. The Chief Minister was formally invited to the National Public Relations Convention scheduled to be held in Dehradun on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of December. On this occasion, the delegation presented the convention brochure to the Chief Minister and shared detailed information about the activities and objectives of the organisation.
The delegation informed that this year’s main theme for the convention is “Role of Public Relations in Viksit Bharat @ 2047.” More than 300 representatives from various states across the country will be participating in the event. Considering Uttarakhand’s silver jubilee year, special sessions will also be organised focusing on the state’s development journey, achievements, and future prospects.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed happiness over the national convention being organised in Dehradun. He said that public relations play a crucial role in achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He stated that public relations tools can make significant contributions towards effective branding of Uttarakhand’s tourism, culture, and local products. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for deliberation on the positive use of social media, continuous communication with the public, prevention of fake news, and the growing impact of AI in the media and public relations sector.
PRSI Dehradun Chapter President Ravi Bijarniya, Secretary Anil Sati, Treasurer Suresh Bhatt, Coordinator Siddharth Bansal, and members Vaibhav Goyal, Anil Verma, Ajay Dabral, Sanjay Bhargava, Priyank Vashistha, and Manoj Sati were also present on the occasion.
