Aanchal Khurana , who won Roadies Season 8 and later appeared as the main negative lead in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke , has been part of several television shows over the years. Her most recent appearance was in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 . Currently seen as Richa in Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey ’s Tu Juliet Jatt Di , she feels deeply connected to the world the show portrays.



She said, "Being a Punjabi myself, the cultural flavor of the show naturally feels very close to my heart. The language, the family dynamics, the vibe—all of it feels familiar and comforting."



She revealed that though she didn't audition for the role, she is happy to be working with Ravie and Sargun. She said, "I didn’t audition for this show. I got a call asking if I would like to work with Dreamiyata, and I said yes immediately. I genuinely admire Ravie sir and Sargun ma’am, and the opportunity to be associated with their production house was the biggest reason I took up this project."



As for her character, Aanchal shared that she doesn’t relate to it. She said, "In real life, I’m not someone who gossips or gets involved in planning and plotting. I enjoy being by myself, travelling, and living alone—very different from who I play on screen."



"My character Richa, on the other hand, comes from a very wealthy background. She doesn’t care about what fights are happening in the house; she treats everything like entertainment. She doesn’t like her mother-in-law and constantly keeps poking her. This kind of personality is very different from roles I’ve done before," she added.



She feels that Tu Juliet Jatt Di stands out from the current shows on TV. She said, "The show brings a fresh take on Punjabi culture and relationships, without trying too hard. It has a lively, real, and relatable energy that sets it apart from typical romance-dramas."



She also revealed that working with her co-stars has been wonderful so far. "Being around talented actors always helps you elevate your own performance, and the overall environment on set has been very positive and inspiring," Aanchal ended.
