Juneau (Alaska) USA. Earthquake tremors were felt Thursday morning in the Anchorage metropolitan area of South Central Alaska. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 6.0 on the Richter scale. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 8:11 am local time, was 26 miles southwest of Willow at a depth of 43 miles. This information was given in the report of Alaska’s Anchorage Daily News newspaper. According to the report, however, there is no news of any major loss yet. The earthquake at Thanksgiving was so strong that it woke people up and caused things to move from walls and shelves. The National Tsunami Center said that there is no expectation of a tsunami.
