But, so far, no one has bought her. There was a battle between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore for Sophie Devine. Delhi Capitals hiked the price, but Gujarat also went ahead with the price hike after careful consideration. A battle ensued between Delhi and Gujarat and eventually Gujarat giants signed Sophie for ₹2 crore for their team.

One thing to note is that a major new rule has been added to the auction this time around. Teams can use RTM (Right to Match) cards, allowing them to buy back players from their 2025 squad. Franchises with fewer players will get more RTM cards and bigger purses. The total purse for the auction this time is Rs 41.1 crore.
