Celebrate the season of gratitude with your loved ones without the hassle of cooking or preparing a feast. Plush hotels across the NCR are marking Thanksgiving with lavish spreads that highlight the flavours, warmth and togetherness of the festival. From live roast stations to pumpkin pie and global culinary inspirations, Thanksgiving celebrations are now blending traditional staples with contemporary international influences.

ADDING A TASTE OF THE MIDDLE EAST AND ITALY TO THE MIX
At ITC Maurya, the Thanksgiving Feast at The Pavilion features a thoughtfully curated spread that merges tradition with global flair. “The Café de Paris Stuffed Roasted Turkey takes centre stage, complemented by giblet gravy, cranberry sauce and a delicate orange glaze. Guests can also enjoy the doner kebab wrap from the Middle Eastern counter, the Mexican Tacos Station brimming with flavours, and the Homemade Gnocchi Station offering a taste of Italy with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan,” shares Executive Chef Shivneet Pohoja of ITC Maurya.

‘We’re seeing guests move beyond the traditional turkey and-cranberry format’
Thanksgiving in India is increasingly becoming a curated, experiential affair, say chefs. “This year, Thanksgiving in India is evolving into a more experiential celebration. We’re seeing guests move beyond the traditional turkey-and-cranberry format and experiment with global flavours blended seamlessly with Indian influences. Indian diners love familiarity even in global celebrations. While they enjoy traditional Thanksgiving staples, they gravitate towards dishes that have warmth, spice, and depth of flavour,” says Chef Gagandeep Bedi, Director of Culinary, Roseate Hotels & Resorts.

While Thanksgiving may not rival Diwali or Christmas in scale, its presence is steadily growing. “Metros like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru have embraced Thanksgiving as a reason to gather, host dinners, and indulge in festive food. Hotels and restaurants see strong demand for themed menus, takeaways, and chef-curated celebrations,” the chef adds.

Buffets spotlighting classic American favourites
Other hotels in the city are also celebrating with specially curated buffets spotlighting classic American favourites. Led by Director of Culinary Gurneet Grover, the menu at Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi Airport, is described as grand yet comforting, featuring buttery pies, festive cocktails, and an indulgent dessert spread. Guests can enjoy a live Roast Station along with beloved Thanksgiving dishes such as Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Mac ’n’ Cheese, and the season’s signature Pumpkin Pie. “With warm décor and NYCstyle hospitality, the Thanksgiving offerings promise a memorable experience for families, friends, and travellers alike,” says Gurneet Grover.
