Filmmaker Tara Wood , the mastermind behind the documentary on Tim Burton , recently talked about her experiences while working on the film. She talked about all the people who contributed through interviews and excerpts in the film; however, there was one person who was not fully convinced to say yes to the documentary.
Tara Wood shares how actress Helena Bonham Carter had to be convinced for the filmIn a report shared by People, Tara Wood delved deep into how she created ‘Tim Burton : Life in the Line’, and how the filmmaker’s ex-partner had to be convinced to participate. She shared that while she pitched the idea to Helena Bonham Carter, “It took a long time to convince her,” she shared. “That took a lot of trust. I had to convince her that it wasn't an exposé. This is definitely about process and art, so once she felt comfortable, she finally said yes. But that definitely took a long time, and the first thing she said when she walked in was, 'So we're going to have a chat about my ex, eh?’”
Wood added that once the ‘Harry Potter’ actress knew what was happening, she was fine and had nothing but good things to say about the filmmaker.
