Meghan Markle has taken to Instagram to brag about a "full circle moment" as she reminisces her first date with Prince Harry. The 43-year-old took to Instagram this evening to share a reel of her travelling back to her "own stomping ground" of West Hollywood.

The former actress, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, is seen driving around in a car, before the video then shows her inside of Soho Home in West Hollywood, with the royal sharing her excitement at her pop-up and collaboration with Soho Home.

As well as stating that West Hollywood has "been [a] part of my life for so long", Meghan also reminisced back to her first date with Harry at Soho House in London.

She wrote: "Talk about a full circle moment! In my old stomping ground of West Hollywood, with a brand, family and friends that have been part of my life for so long... and also a part of my love story with H (since our very first date was at a SH restaurant).

The couple's first date took place in London in July 2016. The couple, who later wed in 2018, reportedly connected straight away and had their second date the following day before Meghan travelled back to the US.

Author Katie Nicholl detailed in her book titled 'Meghan and Harry: Life, loss and Love' the exact moment that the couple knew they were the ones for each other.

In an extract, shared by the Daily Mail in 2019, she wrote: "They quickly arranged to see each other again, this time at Soho House in London where another of their mutual friends Markus Anderson works.

"Anderson arranged for them to have a discreet table at the private member's club, and because there is a no cameras policy, the couple enjoyed a relaxed date without the worry of being photographed. Over a bottle of chilled rosé they chatted for hours confirming to Harry that he had indeed met someone special."
