Apart from Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the episode will also see the participation of Harleen Kaur Deol, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, Sneh Rana, and the head coach, Amol Muzumdar. While it was expected that Smriti Mandhanawould also be joining the team for the special episode, reports indicate that she has decided to skip it. This news comes in after Smriti had to postpone her wedding due to her father’s health issues.

Smriti’s absence is intertwined with a lot of problems in her personal life at the moment. Singer-composer Palash Muchhal and Smriti were reportedly going to get married on 23rd November; however, when the father of the bride, Srinivas Mandhana, started experiencing chest pains and had to be taken to the hospital, the wedding was indefinitely postponed. Currently, he is out of the hospital, and according to a source from the family, he is in good condition after the angiography did not identify any blockage.

Moreover, the removal of the wedding-related posts, pictures, and videos from Smriti’s social account has also raised quite a few eyebrows. Similar removals were seen on the pages of the teammates and the people who were at the pre-wedding functions. There has been no response from Smriti, and no announcement has been made regarding the new wedding date.

Conversations about the matter online became even more heated when rumors about Palash’s possible infidelity surfaced when an Instagram account posted some screenshots where the two were conversing, although now the account has been deactivated.

In response to the rumors, Palash’s cousin Neeti Tak advised people not to rush to conclusions before knowing the full story. Towards the end of her announcement, she noted that people should not be quick to assign blame to Palash but rather wish him good luck as he is unwell in the hospital.
