Chelsea wonderkid Estevao Willian scored in the “most special moment” of his career as the Blues humbled mighty Barcelona. Brazil star Estevao, 18, outshone Barcelona’s own teenage prodigy Lamine Yamal with a sensational solo goal on an unforgettable night at Stamford Bridge.
It will leave Chelsea dreaming of winning the Champions League for a third time as they smashed the five-time winners who also had captain Ronald Araujo sent off for two yellow cards.
Estevao, who became the third teenager to score in each of his first three Champions League starts after Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, said: “It was the perfect night. It was such a special goal in my career for me and I hope to score many more.
“It was the most special moment of my career. I'm so happy my family were here. From the moment I arrived I felt such a connection for the fans. I'm so happy I can score for them and make them happy.”

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca praised Estevao’s performance and also insisted that their Club World Cup success gives them confidence they can beat anyone - including Arsenal in Sunday’s top-of-the table clash.
Maresca said: “He is 18 from Brazil against Barcelona, it's a huge night for him. It was a huge night for the fans and the club.
“We knew how important it was. When you beat Barcelona it's always nice. We are starting to finish games with clean sheets and it's something you need to do.
“Winning the Club World Cup has been very important for the players and their confidence. They realise they can beat any team. It's time to think about Arsenal.”
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick insisted his team can still qualify directly into the last 16 as he admitted Araujo’s sending-off - for a foul on Marc Cucurella - was a turning point.
Flick said: “I have to see the video again. It happens in football. It was not the right moment, not the right game but it happens like this.
“It’s hard to come back against this fantastic team but I’m looking very positive to come back against in the next games.”
