Lakhimpur Kheri: On Wednesday, November 26, a speeding automobile abruptly lost control and crashed into the Sharda canal on the Dhakherwa-Girijapuri route in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. Five individuals lost their lives in the accident, and one person was injured.

Details of the incident and rescue operations
Reports said that the collision occurred late Tuesday night when the vehicle was returning from a wedding party. Residents and local police hurried to the scene as soon as they learned of the occurrence. After a difficult effort, the car was dragged out of the canal by rescue personnel with the assistance of the townspeople. Unfortunately, five people were discovered deceased, and the wounded person was treated at the CHC Ramia Behrad hospital.
UP Chief Minister’s Reaction
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, sent his sympathies to the relatives of the deceased and directed that the wounded get the proper medical attention. Additionally, he gave the local government instructions to speed up relief operations and make sure that all required aid gets to the accident scene as soon as possible.
The inquiry and the fallout
Police are looking into what caused the collision, but preliminary findings suggest that it was caused by excessive speed and a loss of control of the car close to a speed limiter. In order to stop such sad events from happening again, authorities are still working to comfort the impacted families and raise awareness of road safety.
A bus struck a truck close to the Banthra police station location earlier on November 25 in Lucknow, injuring around eight persons. Officials said that the bus was on its way from Sultanpur to Etawah.
Two individuals are being assessed for possible fractures. According to Doctor Rajeev Dixit, the Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) of Lok Bandhu Hospital, all of the wounded are stable and not in danger.
