Patna, 25 November. Rabri Devi, former Chief Minister of Bihar and wife of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, will have to vacate the government residence located at 10 Circular Road. The Building Construction Department of Bihar Government issued a notice to Rabri Devi on Tuesday to vacate the said bungalow. However, he has got another government residence located at 39 Harding Road.

If not health then at least respect Lalu ji’s political stature.

But Lalu-Rabri’s daughter Rohini Acharya has expressed her displeasure on this step of the government. While sharing the notice of the Building Construction Department in her X-post, Rohini wrote, ‘Development model of Good Governance Babu… Insulting Lalu Prasad Yadav, the messiah of crores of people, is the first priority. We will throw him out of the house, but how will he throw him out of the hearts of the people of Bihar. If not his health, he would have at least respected Lalu ji’s political stature.

RJD has also reacted to the eviction notice. Party spokesperson Shakti Yadav said, ‘Rabri Devi has been living in this residence for two decades. A notice is floating that you have been allotted bungalow number 39, it is not the tradition to vacate the bungalow allotted in the name of a former Chief Minister. The rationality of politics has now broken down.

Shakti Yadav said, ‘Bharatiya Janata Party’s interference has now increased in Ek Ane Marg (CM House). BJP’s partner JDU is scared. Whatever decision BJP is taking, it is not refusing it. On a question he said, ‘Why will we go to court? If BJP has decided that they have to do this then they should do it.
