Gujarati devotional drama Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate , which released in India on 10 October 2025, is set to hit theatres in the United States from 5 December.



The makers issued a social-media announcement: “To all Gujaratis living in the USA, Jai Shri Krishna! The blockbuster Gujarati film Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate is now releasing in the United States from 5th December at cinemas near you!” Audiences in major US cities will now have the chance to experience what has become one of the biggest surprises of 2025 in regional Indian cinema.

Box-office triumph with modest budget



Despite its modest budget of around Rs 50 lakh, Laalo has defied expectations with extraordinary staying power at the box office.







According to the Sacnilk website, the film’s collections have surpassed those of several major Bollywood and pan-India titles. Its strong word-of-mouth, devotional theme and heartfelt storytelling have helped it resonate widely across Gujarat and select national markets. The box-office numbers are particularly impressive for a Gujarati-language film.



‘They think I am God and come to me’ – Shruhad Goswami



Actor Shruhad Goswami, who portrays Lord Krishna in the film, has spoken candidly about the deep connection audiences have developed with his character. On the “Bethak” podcast, he revealed, “To be honest, I don’t have the words to say it. Because I didn’t think that people have so much faith in them. And when they see me in the film, they think I am God. They think I am God and come to me. They touch my feet.”



With its United States release, Laalo is expected to mint more numbers in the coming days, and the film’s reach is set to expand significantly.
