Ayodhya is preparing for the Dhwajarohan (flag-hoisting) ceremony at the Ram Mandir today, with a large-scale event scheduled for the afternoon. The ritual marks a significant milestone of the completion of construction at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

The Dhwajarohan ceremony will take place during the Abhijeet Muhurat, regarded as one of the most auspicious windows for major religious occasions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the ceremony by hoisting the flag atop the temple’s 161-foot shikhara (spire). The ceremonial flag measures 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width and will be mounted on a 42-foot pole positioned above the spire.
