To make your messages disappear from the other person’s chat within 24 hours, you can use WhatsApp’s Disappearing Messages feature. Before using it, you must set how long messages will stay before they’re automatically removed.
How to Enable WhatsApp Disappearing Messages
Here’s the step-by-step method:
Open WhatsApp.
Tap the name of the contact you want to chat with.
Once inside the chat window, tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
Select the “Disappearing Messages” option.
You will see three timer options:
• 24 hours
• 7 days
• 90 days
If you want your messages to vanish within 24 hours, simply select the 24-hour option. From that point on, any message you send to that contact will automatically disappear after 24 hours.
This feature works for both individual chats and group chats, making it useful for privacy, temporary conversations, or sensitive information. If you often forget to delete old chats, this trick can be extremely helpful.
