A beloved comedywill soon be leaving Netflix, but there's still time to watch the "genius" film. Happy Gilmore is a 1996 American sports comedy film starring Adam Sandler in the title role.

Happy Gilmore is leaving Netflix on December 9, but its sequel, Happy Gilmore 2, will still be available to watch on the streaming platform.

Released on Netflix in July, the film follows Gilmore returning to professional golf to help pay for his daughter's overseas ballet school following his wife's death, which led him to relapse into alcoholism.
