1. Unplug after full charge


When your laptop is fully charged, remove the charger. Keeping it plugged in constantly can damage the battery over time.


2. Avoid charging to 0%


Try not to drain the battery completely. Plug it in when it reaches about 20% to maintain a healthy charging cycle.


3. Use original charger


Always use official/original charger. Local or incompatible chargers can impact battery performance and cause long-term problems.



4. Don’t keep it at 100% constantly


Avoid keeping your laptop at 100% charge all the time. Repeatedly charging to full capacity may reduce battery life.


5. Decrease screen brightness


Higher brightness consumes more power. Reducing screen brightness can significantly slow down battery drain.


6. Turn on sleep mode


If your laptop stays on when not in use, turn on sleep mode in Settings. This helps in saving power and reduces unnecessary battery usage.
