Solid arrangements for Sangat during the gatherings from 23rd to 25th November: Tarunpreet Singh Saund

Punjab News: Education and Information and Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that Anandpur Sahib, the land established by the ninth Patshah Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, is fully prepared to welcome the Sangats. The Punjab Government is celebrating this martyrdom ceremony with full reverence and respect on the completion of 350 years of the martyrdom of Guru Sahib. Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that all the arrangements for the Sangat coming during the functions to be held from 23rd to 25th November are completely solid. The Sangat will not be allowed to face any kind of trouble.




Both the ministers have appealed to the people of the country and abroad to pay obeisance at the holy land of Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that the great life and philosophy of the ninth Patshah Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, the protector of religious freedom and human rights, the embodiment of mercy and sacrifice and the symbol of sacrifice, is a ray of light for the entire humanity. We along with our families should bow down with reverence on this holy land of Anandpur Sahib and become a part of these supernatural gatherings. During this, Bains, Saund and Lok Sabha member Malvinder Singh Kang gave a grand welcome to Nagar Kirtan from Talwandi Sabo and Faridkot on reaching Sri Anandpur Sahib.


Details of the events to be held at Anandpur Sahib from 23 to 25 November, 2025:


These special gatherings will start on 23rd November at 10 am with the beginning of Akhand Path Sahib. This function will be held at Gurdwara Sahib located near Baba Budha Dal Cantonment, where Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will also be present. An exhibition based on the life of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji will be inaugurated in the hall of Virasat-e-Khalsa at 11 am. All religion conference will be organized in the main pandal of Baba Budha Dal Cantonment from 12 noon. There will be a guided tour of Virasat-e-Khalsa, Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial and Panch Pyare Park at 3 pm. There will be a drone show at Virasat-e-Khalsa at 5 pm and Katha and Kirtan Darbar at the main pandal at 6 pm.


On November 24 at 8 am, Sheesh Bhent Nagar Kirtan will go from Kiratpur Sahib to Sri Anandpur Sahib. There will be a heritage walk at Sri Anandpur Sahib at 10 am. From 11 am to 1 pm, poetry recitation, Dhadi and Kavishari Darbar based on the life and teachings of Guru Sahib will be organized in the main pandal of Baba Budha Dal Cantonment. There will be a special session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly dedicated to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial at 1 pm. Gattaka and other martial arts programs will be held at Charan Ganga Stadium from 2 pm onwards. There will be a drone show at Virasat-e-Khalsa at 5 pm and a Katha and Kirtan Darbar at the main pandal at 6 pm.


On November 25, at 10 am, the offering of Akhand Path Sahib will be completed in the main pandal of Baba Budha Dal Cantonment, in which the Chief Minister of Punjab will also be present along with the Sangat. State level blood donation and tree plantation campaign will start from Virasat-e-Khalsa at 11 am. There will be a Sarbat Da Bhala gathering program in the main pandal at 12 noon, in which prominent religious, social and political personalities will participate. The three-day grand gathering will conclude with a drone show at 5 pm. However, this drone show will continue till November 29.

The state government has made elaborate arrangements to facilitate lakhs of devotees coming to the holy city to attend these congregations. Shuttle service will be run to transport the Sangat from the parking zones to the main places. All parking spaces have been equipped with facilities of CCTV surveillance, lighting, barricading, traffic marshals, sign boards and mobile toilets. 500 e-rickshaws, 150 mini buses, 25 Force Urbania vans, 15 cars, 20 Tata Ace vehicles and 10 golf carts have been made available to serve the Sangat to the elderly and disabled. Shuttle services will facilitate movement between parking locations and Gurdwara Kesgarh Sahib, Virasat-e-Khalsa, main pandal, tent cities and help desk points. This entire system will be monitored by the main control center. Similarly, to facilitate the huge influx of Sangat, two major tent cities have been set up, in which arrangements have been made to accommodate about 10,000 Sangat. Deploying ambulances and 24-hour prompt medical services have been ensured. More than 8,000 police personnel have been deployed under the supervision of senior Punjab Police officials to ensure security, movement and convenience of the Sangat.
