In Missosology’s finals prediction, Giang was ranked 25th.

The Miss Universe Vietnam organization emphasized that, despite not making the Top 30, Giang remains a source of pride.

“During the 20 days of the competition, Huong Giang not only delivered stunning performances but also shared her story of perseverance and a compassionate heart.”

Giang drew much attention throughout the contest, both in Vietnam and internationally.

The only transgender contestant had the largest social media following among all participants, with over four million Instagram followers.

Her on-stage and behind-the-scenes photos consistently received high engagement.

She showcased energy, confidence and poise in media interactions, earning praise for her style transformations and frequently appearing in international “best-dressed” lists.

Ahead of the finale, she ranked in the Top 3 of the Beyond the Crown category for her meaningful social project.

Reflecting on her experience, Giang said: “The support from fans, friends and colleagues has been the greatest gift for me.”

Now 33, she first gained public attention in 2012 as a top 4 contestant on “Vietnam Idol.”

She went on to win Miss International Queen in 2018.

Over the years she has pursued a career in singing, acting and producing reality TV programs.

Miss Universe 2025 has faced multiple controversies and internal disputes, drawing criticism for its organization.

Contestants from Estonia, Indonesia and Hungary have suffered food poisoning, and those from Iceland, Germany, Niger, and Persia withdrew. The Mexican representative was involved in a public spat with pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil.
