New Delhi. Emirates Airline will recruit hundreds of pilots in 2026, with the aim of hiring a total of one thousand five hundred pilots in 2025 and 2026. The move is being taken to address the global pilot shortage and support its growing fleet. Emirates has ordered 269 new aircraft (65 Boeing 777X and eight Airbus A350-900).
The airline is also expanding its training infrastructure. That includes a new $135 million training center and additional simulators in Dubai, which will be operational by mid-2026. However, Emirates has successfully met its recent recruitment targets. It has also lost some pilots to new rival airlines in Saudi Arabia.
