New Delhi, 22 November. For the passengers of Delhi-NCR, NaMo Bharat train is now going to prove to be not only a means of travel but also a new medium to make special moments of life memorable. In fact, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which operates regional rail services, has started a unique initiative, under which people will be able to celebrate their special occasions – like birthdays, pre-wedding shoots, personal functions or any other memorable moment of happiness directly inside the NaMo Bharat train.

Events can be organized in the coach standing at the station or in the train running on the track.

Under this initiative, any individual, event organizer or photo/video production team can make advance booking of Namo Bharat coaches. The event will be possible both in the coach standing at the train station or in the train running on the track during operation. The fixed fee for this will start from Rs 5,000 per hour.

Along with this, an additional slot of 30-30 minutes will also be given before and after the booking time to facilitate installation and removal of decorations. The functions can be organized between 6 am to 11 pm and the entire arrangement will be managed in such a way that there is no inconvenience to normal train operations and passengers.

NCRTC said that NaMo Bharat’s attractive interiors, modern design and high speed of 160 km/h make it a special and memorable location for celebrations. Its accessibility to stations like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad and Meerut South provides people with a unique and premium environment for their celebrations.

Events will be held under the supervision of NCRTC staff and security

Additionally, the mock-up coach located at Duhai depot is also available for shoots and events. To ensure security during these functions, the events will be under the supervision of NCRTC staff and security. The organizers will have complete freedom in the decoration, which will have to be kept as per the standards set by the Train Authority.

Young filmmakers showcase their talent in short film competition

It is noteworthy that NCRTC has earlier also implemented the policy of making NaMo Bharat stations and trains available on rent for shooting of films, documentaries and TV advertisements. In the recently organized film competition, young filmmakers from across the country showcased their talent in short films based on the infrastructure of NaMo India.

NCRTC believes that thousands of passengers traveling through Namo Bharat every day have their own stories of meetings, dreams and travel experiences. Now with this new initiative, people will be able to become a part of Namo Bharat’s story by associating their happiness with it.
