Everyone wants thick, strong and beautiful hair, but often we make small mistakes in our daily lifestyle, the effect of which gradually becomes visible on the hair. Habits like running around throughout the day, wrong eating habits, lack of hair care, excessive use of hair products, and wrongly washing or drying hair weaken the hair roots. The result is that hair starts falling, dandruff increases, hair starts appearing lifeless, split ends and dry.

Many people think that hair problems are caused by weather or change of shampoo, whereas the truth is that some of our daily habits are spoiling the quality of hair. From waking up in the morning till sleeping at night, there are many habits which, if taken care of, can prevent problems like hair breakage, dryness, dandruff and hair thinning to a great extent.

1. Washing hair too much with harsh shampoo

People think that washing hair more keeps it clean and healthy. but it's not like that. Washing hair too much can make hair worse. Especially when they use shampoos containing chemicals like sulphate, paraben and formaldehyde. Due to this the hair becomes dry and lifeless. In such a situation, you should wash your hair only 2-3 times a week and use shampoo with mild formula.

2. Use of excessive heating tools

Some girls use too many heating tools in daily life. Like straightening the hair, curling it or drying the hair with the help of a dryer. But continuous use of heating tools damages the hair very quickly. If you want to use them, you can use heat protecting spray. Try to use them only occasionally.

3. Making tight hairstyle daily

Making tight hairstyles like ponytail or high bun every day also makes the hair weak. By doing this the hair roots become weak and hair starts falling. This condition is called traction alopecia. In such a situation, do not tie your hair too tightly. Also keep changing the hairstyle sometimes. Also, do not sleep with your hair tied at night, hair needs oxygen at night.

4. Ignoring scalp problems

Some people take great care of their hair. But scalp health is ignored. But if the surface of the scalp is dry, flaky or dirt has accumulated on it, then the hair does not remain healthy. Use medicated shampoo to keep the scalp clean. Apart from this, it is also very important to massage the head with light hands for a few minutes every day, because this improves blood circulation to the roots of the hair.

5. Not taking care of nutrition and hydration

To keep hair healthy, nutrition is very important. Like protein, iron, zinc and vitamins. But wrong eating habits, skipping meals or eating too much processed food harms hair. Apart from this, if you are not drinking enough water then lack of hydration also makes the hair weak and dry.
