Travis Head, who came to open for Australia in the second innings of the Perth Test, batted brilliantly. But, the question in everyone’s mind is that who took the decision to send the head batting batsman in the middle order to open? The head himself answered this during the post match presentation.
Travis Head told, ‘I didn’t think I would be able to do something like this. Starc had shown excellent bowling on the first day. I was happy to be in the opening and I knew that their bowlers were going to try short pitch bowling. The coach and the captain made a plan together and then asked me to go to the opening. I wanted to come to the opening myself and see what I could do. Now we are 1-0 ahead in the series and this is a great start.

Trevid Head played a stormy century in the Perth Test match being played with England. First he completed his half-century in just 36 balls and then he completed his century in just 69 balls.
