Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Conor Bradley and Florian Wirtz will miss the upcoming matches against Nottingham Forest and beyond.

Injury details

In his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool's clash against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Slot said: "We do have some issues after the international break. Conor Bradley is not able to play and Florian Wirtz is unable to play. That's far from ideal."

He further explained that both players are dealing with muscle issues.

While he doesn't expect Bradley to return in the next three weeks, he thinks Wirtz's absence won't be as long.

With Jeremie Frimpong also out with a hamstring injury, Liverpool's right-back position is in a bit of a crisis.

Slot has hinted that players may have to play in positions they don't usually play, naming Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez as potential options.

Despite missing training on Thursday, Gomez is expected to be part of Friday's session.

Goalkeeper comeback

On a positive note, Slot has confirmed that goalkeeper Alisson is fit to return to the starting lineup after a seven-week absence due to a hamstring injury.

He said: "Alisson trained last week and this week, so he will be able to play tomorrow if things work out well again today (Friday)."

Andy Robertson also missed training for personal reasons but is expected back with the group on Friday.
