New Delhi: Tesla’s Model Y has secured one of the strongest Euro NCAP safety performances seen this year, earning top tier scores across all major crash test categories. The November 2025 results reaffirm the electric SUV’s position as one of the safest vehicles in its class, and the ratings apply to all 2025 Model Y variants. The tested vehicle was the dual motor, all wheel drive, left hand drive model sold in Europe, though the Long Range RWD and Performance AWD versions also fall under the same safety umbrella.

The outcome has drawn attention from EV watchers in India as well. Even though the Model Y is still not on sale here, the rating gives a clear picture of how the global model performs under strict European crash standards.
