What ingredients are required to make Coconut Rabri?


Full cream milk – 1 liter


Sugar – 1/2 cup (to taste)



Grated coconut – 1 cup


Cardamom powder – 1/4 teaspoon


A few almonds and pistachios (for garnish)


How is Coconut Rabri made?


Step 1 – First of all, put milk to boil in a heavy pan, keep its flame low and keep stirring the milk so that it does not stick to the bottom.


Step 2 – When the milk begins to boil and thicken, add the coconut shavings and mix well. Cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the coconut is thoroughly mixed into the milk.


Step 3 – Now add the sugar and cardamom powder and stir. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.


Step 4- Now turn off the heat and let the rabri cool. Then, transfer it to a bowl and refrigerate it for at least 2 or 3 hours to thicken and thicken it even more.


Step 5- Now serve this cold coconut rabdi garnished with almonds and pistachios.
