Voice AI startup Synthio Labs has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Elevation Capital, with 1984 Ventures, Peak XV Partners, Y Combinator, and other angel investors from the global healthcare and artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem participating.
Synthio Labs offers real-time voice AI to conduct communication between doctors and patients efficiently.
The company aims to use the funding to expand its engineering and product teams, scale its presence in the US and Europe, and onboard more life sciences clients.
“Beyond breakthrough medicines, the future of healthcare will depend on how we reach and support every clinician and patient who relies on them,” said Supreet Deshpande, cofounder and CEO of Synthio Labs.
Synthio offers a voice AI copilot for field teams called Jarvis; an AI engine for omnichannel engagement between physicians and patients called Ather; and an insight platform that generates digital twins of clinicians and patients for research and strategy.
“We’re building the AI infrastructure that makes that possible … at scale,” said Rajashekar Vasantha, cofounder and CTO.
Synthio Labs was founded in 2024 by Deshpande, Vasantha and Sahitya Sridhar and has teams operating from the US and India.
“Their (Synthio Labs') Clinical-grade Voice AI platform unifies how pharma communicates — giving field teams a powerful voice companion, and giving physicians and patients instant … answers 24/7,” said Krishna Mehra, AI Partner, Elevation Capital, in a statement.
