Tragic incident in Sydney

New Delhi: A shocking news has come from Sydney, Australia. A pregnant woman of Indian origin lost her life in a car accident here. According to local media reports, Australian authorities have informed about this incident.

Death of 33 year old pregnant woman: Samaryana Dhareshwar, 33, who was eight months pregnant, and her unborn child died after being hit by a car in the Sydney suburb of Hornsby, according to reports. The incident happened on Friday, when she was walking with her husband and three-year-old son. There were only a few weeks left for the birth of their second child.

According to New South Wales Police, a Kia Carnival slowed down to allow the family to cross the sidewalk. At the same time, a BMW sedan driven by 19-year-old Aaron Papazoglou allegedly collided with the Kia, causing the car to jump forward and collide with Dhareshwar.

Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene and were treated by paramedics. They were rushed to Westmead Hospital, but unfortunately, Dhareshwar and her unborn baby could not be saved.
