Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, is being extradited from the United States to India. He is a key suspect in several high-profile cases, including the assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui and a shooting incident outside actor Salman Khan's residence. According to sources, the extradition process for Anmol Bishnoi has been successfully completed. This development is significant as Indian authorities aim to dismantle the international network of the Bishnoi gang, which is believed to have been operating from North America. Anmol was reportedly detained by US officials in November of the previous year and is identified as the main conspirator behind the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui.

Details of the Assassination

Baba Siddiqui, aged 66, was shot dead on the night of October 12, 2024, outside his son Zeeshan's office in the Bandra area of Mumbai by three assailants. The Mumbai Police's crime branch has filed a charge sheet naming 26 arrested individuals, with Anmol Bishnoi identified as the mastermind behind the murder plot aimed at establishing fear and dominance over the crime syndicate. The police have recovered voice clips from the arrested suspects, allegedly containing instructions from Anmol and the intent behind the murder.

Connection to Salman Khan Shooting

Anmol Bishnoi is also wanted in connection with the shooting incident that occurred outside Salman Khan's residence in Bandra in April 2024, where he is considered one of the main conspirators. The charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) provide a detailed account of the international conspiracy. Following the attack, which involved two individuals on motorcycles firing multiple rounds at the actor's apartment, Anmol reportedly took responsibility on social media, labeling it as the actor's first and final warning.
