Dhanush's manager accused of casting couch by actor Manya Anand

Actor Manya Anand has accused a man named Sreyas, who is reportedly associated with Tamil star Dhanush, of engaging in a casting couch.

In an interview with Cinulagam, she alleged that the individual invited her to work on a new film project connected to Dhanush and made some "demands."

The manager allegedly told her there is "commitment (adjustment)" and asked if she wouldn't comply even if it were for Dhanush.

Anand's refusal and the manager's persistence

Despite her clear refusal, the manager allegedly continued to pressure her.

"You will not comply even if it's Dhanush sir?" he reportedly asked.

She also claimed that he sent her the location of Dhanush's production house, Wunderbar Films, and asked her to meet him there.

"I did not read it. I am not doing the film," she said about a script he sent her.

'We are doing some other work...'
Statement

India Today quoted Anand saying, "We're artists. We are doing some other work. You take work from us but don't expect something else in return."

"If we comply with your demands, then we'd be named something else. I think it'd be better if people recognized this pattern and sorted it out."

Neither Dhanush nor Sreyas has responded to these allegations yet.

Dhanush's upcoming film 'Tere Ishk Mein'
Film release

Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy promoting his upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, which also features Kriti Sanon.

The film is directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav.

It will be released in theaters worldwide in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu on November 28, 2025.

This film marks the third collaboration between Dhanush and Rai after their successful ventures Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re.
