In the stunning green hills of the Cotswolds lies a quaint little village that has been named as one of the most beautiful in the UK. Bibury is a postcard-perfect village that's known for its charm and old-fashioned streets.
On the blog, Adventures of Alice, the Cotswolds hotspot was listed as one of the most beautiful places to visit in the UK. She says: "If you visit Bibury, you'll find yourself walking amongst beautiful stone houses, down narrow lanes and surrounded by greenery and wildflowers. Bibury is easily one of the most beautiful English villages and almost feels like a step into the past."
The Gloucestershire gem draws visitors from all over the UK and all around the world.
One must-visit place in the village is Arlington Row, a cluster of 17th-century stone cottages once home to weavers supplying the nearby Arlington Mill.
You can't miss a stop off here - it's one of the most photographed spots in the UK.
In the village, you'll also be able to see the River Coln which winds through the area.
Bibury might be small, but it's easy to spend a leisurely afternoon here and it's a unique place you won't find anywhere else.
While you're there, you can pick up handmade crafts at local shops or stop for lunch and a coffee while soaking up the quaint atmosphere of the village.
It is also located not far from other favourites in the Cotswolds - from Bourton-on-the-Water to Burford.
One person who visited Bibury on Tripadvisor said: "We purchased a treasure trail which encompassed most of the village including Arlington Row. The village is beautiful.
"The shops and cafes are quaint and it's lovely to be able to shop local, not a chain store in sight!
"The cafe / restaurant 'Eleven' was sensational. We really enjoyed visiting the trout farm and generally just walking along the river enjoying the sun!"
If you're looking for a quiet break or a day trip out, Bibury is the perfect place to enjoy a trip this autumn.
