14-year-old young cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi recently set another impressive record in the cricket world. The Indian Under-19 player not only scored a fast T20 century in his debut match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), but also made history by becoming the youngest player in the world to score two centuries in T20 cricket in 35 balls or less.

In the match played at the West End International Stadium in Dubai on November 14, Vaibhav, opening his innings, scored a century in just 32 balls. Opening for India A under the captaincy of Jitesh Sharma, he scored 144 runs in 42 balls, including 11 fours and 14 sixes. With this brilliant innings, Vaibhav not only put his team in a strong position but also set a new record in T20 cricket.

This was Vaibhav's second T20 century, having previously scored a 35-ball hundred for the Rajasthan Royals against the Gujarat Titans in the 2025 IPL. He now joins a club in world cricket that also includes big names like Urvil Patel and Abhishek Sharma.

Overall, Vaibhav's innings shattered several records, becoming the sixth-fastest T20I century. He also earned the distinction of being India's youngest centurion in T20 cricket, a distinction previously held by Gustave Maccon of France. Now, he tops the list, surpassing even Unmukt Chand as far as Indian players are concerned.

Vaibhav's records don't stop there. 134 of his 144 runs came via boundaries, the most by an Indian in T20 cricket. Vaibhav's strike rate in this innings was 342.85, which is another interesting statistic.
