Barabanki. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement towards taking the development of Barabanki district to new heights. He said that the state government is now going to establish a huge industrial corridor on 232 acres of land in Ramsanehighat area. This project will empower the district from industrial point of view and open new employment opportunities for the youth.


There will be a grand transformation of Mahadeva and Deva Sharif


The Chief Minister said that Barabanki is a very rich area from religious and cultural point of view. The aim of the government is to give global recognition to the major religious places of Mahadeva and Deva Sharif. Just as Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana and Govardhan have been developed, similarly now these pilgrimage places of Barabanki will also get a new grand look.


Preservation of local heritage also on priority


Yogi Adityanath said that the historical mansion of Lal of Barabanki will be developed as a museum, so that the glorious heritage of the district can reach the coming generations. This effort will promote cultural tourism and also strengthen the local economy.


Big step in the interest of farmers of the state


The Chief Minister also made a relief announcement for the farmers. He said that in order to increase the income of mentha (peppermint oil) producing farmers, the government has reduced the tax on synthetic mentha to 18% and fixed the tax on natural mentha only at 5%. This will reduce the cost of farming and increase the income of farmers.


Industrial area near Purvanchal Expressway


Apart from Barabanki, another industrial zone will be developed on 220 acres of land near Purvanchal Expressway in Haidergarh area. This will also give a new direction to industrial development in various districts of Purvanchal.


Plan for ‘Iron Man Industrial Area’ also


The state government has announced another ambitious scheme to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of independent India. Under this, ‘Iron Man Industrial Areas’ will be developed in about 100 acres of area in 75 districts of the state. This is being considered a historic step towards industrial development and balanced regional growth of the state.
