Making spring rolls is a fun task that requires just a few ingredients. First, you need spring roll sheets (you can buy them at the store or make them at home). For the stuffing, you need thinly sliced carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, and a little onion. Soy sauce, vinegar, and pepper are essential for flavoring. Mixing these ingredients creates a spicy mixture.



Ingredients for Spring Rolls
Oil: 2 tablespoons (for frying vegetables)
Garlic: 4-5 cloves (finely chopped)
Ginger: 1 small piece (grated or finely chopped)
Onion: 1 (thinly sliced lengthwise)
Carrot: 1 (thinly sliced lengthwise)
Cabbage: 1 cup (thinly sliced lengthwise)
Capsicum: 1 (thinly sliced lengthwise)
Salt: to taste
Chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Vinegar: 1 teaspoon
Green chili sauce or Schezwan chutney: 1 teaspoon (for spiciness)
Spring roll sheets: 10 to 12
Flour batter: 2 tablespoons flour and 2-3 tablespoons water
Oil: for frying (as needed)


How to Make Spring Rolls

First, heat the oil in a pan. Heat some oil. Add garlic and ginger paste and lightly fry. Then add all the chopped vegetables (carrots, cabbage, and capsicum) and cook over high heat for 2-3 minutes. The vegetables should not be overcooked; they should remain crisp. Add soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Your delicious and spicy stuffing is ready.


Now it's time to make the rolls. Take a spring roll sheet. Place the prepared stuffing mixture in the center of the sheet. Apply a little flour and water mixture to the edges of the sheet to ensure it adheres well. Then roll it into a tight roll. Prepare all the rolls in this manner. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls over medium heat until golden and crispy. Be careful not to overheat the oil; otherwise, they will burn quickly on the outside and remain raw on the inside.



Your hot and crispy street-style spring rolls are ready. Serve them immediately with tomato ketchup or Schezwan sauce. The crispy outside and the savory filling inside will bring you straight back to a street food stall. Try this evening snack; your kids and family will love it.
