Ujjain, 4 November (Read). Kalidas Festival in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh is not just a ceremony but is a carrier of art, culture and Indian knowledge tradition. Chairman of Gujarat Sanskrit Board, Somnath, Himanjay Paliwal said this while addressing a research seminar on the fourth day of All India Kalidas Festival on Tuesday. The welcome address was given by Dr. Govind Gandhe, Director of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy. Saraswat Guest Prof. Sadashiv Dwivedi Varanasi, Chairman Prof. Kaushalendra Pandey was from Varanasi. A total of ten research papers were read in the research seminar. Vaidehi Pandya presented a classical dance at the beginning of the function. Conducted by Durgashankar Suryavansh. Dr. Sandeep Nagar expressed his gratitude.

The main speaker of the lecture series at the ceremony was Prof. Was Kedarnarayan Joshi. Presided over by Prof. Vijay Kumar Menon did it. Under the special lecture, India’s Ambassador (Dublin) to Ireland Akhilesh Mishra described ‘the importance of Kalidas in the context of the developed India resolution’ through (online) medium. He said that as a result of the invaluable messages given by the great poet Kalidas for the all-round development of India, today India has not only emerged as the fourth economic superpower in the world but the entire world is looking towards India for the solution of many complex problems. He shared his views with quotations from texts on democracy, administration and secret counselling.

The fourth day of All India Kalidas Festival started with the classical dance of Vaidehi Pandya. In his dance, he presented organ operations, expressions, thaat, tihiyan, chakkardaar, ladi bhav paksha bajuband ladi of Jaipur gharana.

In the cultural evening, artists of Cultural Committee Ujjain, Shri Krishna Ujjayini Vishala Cultural and Public Interest Committee presented the dance drama Ritusanhar. The first presentation was done by Tanisha Jain and the group and the second presentation was directed by Jagroop Singh. The guest was Corporation President Kalavati Yadav, Padma Bhagatilal Rajpurohit. BJP city president Sanjay Aggarwal presided. It was conducted by Dr. Ketaki Trivedi. Anil Barod accepted the vote of thanks.
